Since 2019 Smiling Dog Entertainment has had the privilege of delivering fun, smiles, laughter, and love to the Quad Cities Night to Shine in East Moline, Illinois with not one, but two of our exceptional photo booth experiences.
The Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love for people with special needs ages 14+. On one night, February 9, 2024, over 750 churches, from around the world, hosted Night to Shine for thousands of honored guests!
The Quad Cities Night to Shine is hosted by Bridge Cities Church of Bettendorf, Iowa bringing together dozens of vendors and 100’s of amazing volunteers to provide individuals with special needs a night to remember.
Each of the 550 guests at last night’s Quad Cities Night to Shine was introduced to a cheering crowd prior to their walk down the Red Carpet where they were photographed against a step and repeat backdrop by the assembled paparazzi (photographers). The DJ’s announcing each guest told a little bit about each guest during their introduction and their enthusiasm was contagious.
Once inside the event the guests danced, took limousine rides, ate delicious food and snacks, had their pictures taken in the photo booths, visited with friends and just enjoyed a special night. And you will not find a more grateful group of people, than the guests of this event. I received so many fist bumps and thank yous last night from the guests and their buddy’s and chaperones after taking their pictures.
This event would not be possible without the direction of the staff at Bridge Cities Church, the donations of dozens of local businesses and vendors, individual donations to fund the costs of the event, and the generous donations of time of local volunteers.
We know firsthand how amazing the volunteers are as we’ve been assigned anywhere from 2-4 volunteers to help with the photo booths each year and we couldn’t have asked for any better support than what each of these volunteers has provided.
We are blessed to be asked to come back year after year to support this amazing event for this deserving group of people.
