Over the course of the past three weeks the team at Smiling Dog Entertainment has had the opportunity to work on over 20 events including Graduation Parties, Weddings, Corporate Events, and even a Charity Golf Tournament.
We’ve delivered fun, smiles, laughter, and love to these events with a variety of photo booth experiences, wedding decor, party games, and Retro Audio Guestbooks.
And these events took our team members to venues such as the Blank Park Zoo, The River Center, The Tea Room, the Embassy Suites Hotel, and Wakonda Club in Des Moines, Grinnell College in Grinnell, the Ankeny Golf and Country Club and Toast in Ankeny, Prairie Moon Winery in Ames, Heartland Acres in Independence Iowa, the Waterloo Elks Club in Waterloo, the 1868 Farmhouse Wedding and Event Venue in Boone, the Kirkwood Hotel in Cedar Rapids, the Omaha Freedom Festival in Omaha, and the Caldwell Building in Canton, Missouri.
We provided Enclosed and Open Air Photo Booths, 360 Degree Video Experiences, and Digital Drop Off Photo Booths for these indoor and outdoor events.

In addition to exceptional photo booth experiences a number of these events also included decor rentals such as our lighted Mr & Mrs Sign (one of our most popular wedding rental pieces), a lighted head table backdrop, lighted LOVE letters, and premium backdrops such as our boxwood hedge wall and white floral wall.
For some of the other events we provided Party Games such as Giant Jenga, Giant Connect 4, Corn Hole, and more.
A couple of the newlyweds opted against a traditional guest book and let their guests, pick up the phone and leave them a message of congratulations on their wedding day with one of our new Retro Audio Guestbooks. Our collection of vintage phones, such as the pink and yellow old fashioned rotary dial phones and unique antique phones such as the candlestick phone and victorian style phones add to the decor at any wedding. Easy to use guests simply pick up the phone, listen to the custom greeting, wait for the beep, then leave their message for the newlyweds who can listen to the messages from loved ones time and again.
