The Des Moines Heritage Center is one of our favorite venues to provide photo booth experiences for weddings and corporate events.   It is a beautiful venue with great indoor and outdoor spaces and the staff is professional and responsive in assisting us with all of our needs.

This past weekend we had the honor of providing a wedding photo booth for Emma and Olivia’s wedding at the Des Moines Heritage Center.

After an indoor ceremony guests retreated to the outdoor plaza for cocktail hour while the interior of the venue was transformed into the reception hall.   The DJ from Complete Weddings and Events brought the music outside where the guests enjoyed conversation, sunshine and a beverage (or two) of their choice before returning inside for dinner.

While guests enjoyed the beautiful weather we setup the photo booth with the Boxwood Hedge Wall backdrop the couple chose for their photos.  Shortly after guests came back in they began stopping by to have their photos taken.  Many of the guests were visibly excited to see a photo booth at the reception and from the number of times some guests got their photos taken it was clear it was well received.

About 45 minutes before the photo booth was scheduled to close the newlyweds invited their friends to join them for pictures in the photo booth.  The newlyweds were in the photo booth for the remainder of it’s scheduled time and received dozens of photos with their guests – wonderful reminders of the family and friends who celebrated their special day with them.

Emma, while reaching out to us the next day for a link to the live online gallery of photos had this to say about her wedding photo booth experience, “Thank you so much for your work yesterday at our wedding.
